FAQ

What people ask us most, answered plainly.

What is Rotorva?

Rotorva is a free educational auto insurance information website from The Nelson M Group LLC. It explains how auto insurance works in plain language.

Is Rotorva an insurance company, agent or broker?

No. We do not sell insurance, we are not licensed to, and nothing here is insurance, legal or financial advice.

Will you give me a quote or tell me what I should pay?

No. Prices depend on your state, your vehicle, your drivers and each company’s own formula. We explain the pieces so you can ask better questions of insurers yourself.

Will you match me with an agent or insurer?

No. We do not recommend, rank or match you with companies or agents.

Do you send reminders for my renewal date?

Only if you choose to receive our educational texts or emails, and we do not know your actual renewal date.

Can I print the checklists?

Yes. They are ordinary web pages, and your browser can print them.

Do you share my details with insurers or agents?

No. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with insurance companies, agents, quote sites or other partners. Our Privacy Policy describes the limited cases where service providers handle data for us.

What do I get when I sign up?

Plain-language educational information on the topic you choose, by email if you give one. If you opt in to texts, you also get short texts pointing to the same guides.

Do I have to give a phone number, email or ZIP code?

No. Your email address, mobile number and ZIP code are all optional. A first name, a last name, your topic and the privacy agreement are all we need.

Do I have to agree to texts?

No. Texts are optional, with one unchecked box. You can sign up without ticking it.

How often will you text me?

Message frequency varies, up to about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.

How do I stop texts?

Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].

How do I stop emails or delete my information?

Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to [email protected].

Is this for reporting a claim?

No. To report a claim or get roadside help, contact your own insurer. If anyone is hurt after a crash, call 911.

One more thing to tick off.

Get the checklists by email, or by text if you like.
